          Brand new tie rod for 1937-1941 passenger cars and pickups. This is the long rod that goes from one wheel to the other and links them together for the steering. The measurement is 43.5" inches in length. Included with the tie rod are the clamps used at the ends. Sold separately are the tie rod ends, which use part number (11A-3289) and (11A-3290).

          This is the special tapered castle nut which secures the perch bolt to the front axle. The special taper on the bottom of the nut fits in the countersunk hole in the front radius rod/wishbone.

          These forged steel aftermarket bolt on steering arms fit all 1937-1948 spindles. This style arm is the kind most commonly used on 1935-1948 front ends with dropped front axles.

          These steering arms bend downward, so that the steering tie rod fits below the front radius rod/wishbone. For most 4" inch dropped axles, the arms on the original Ford spindles are not long enough to be heated and bent down as far as necessary to clear the radius rod/wishbone. Many people will cut the arms off of their original spindles and use these arms for that application.

          * If you require that your tie rod fit above the front radius rod/wishbone you can use our other steering arms with part number "B-3134", the arms bend upward a small amount.

          * These spindles drop down 4" inches from the center of the bolt holes where they bolt to the spindle, to the bottom part of the arm, where the tie rod bolts onto them.

          This pair of lower shock mount brackets was designed to bolt on the bottom side of the front spring perches just below the axle. In order for these mounting brackets to work, you need to use a spring perch longer then the original. For 1928-1934 cars the longer spring perch needed to work with these brackets use part number "HR-3032" and are Sold Separately.

          These are new aftermarket replacement spindles for 1937-1941 Fords. These are the most commonly used spindles for hot rods, or when converting your car over to hydraulic brakes.

          Spindles are sold WITHOUT castle nuts and washers. These spindles come without bushings, so the kingpin bushing kit required with use of these spindles is sold separately and uses part number "78-3111-K".

          * Original spindles have the steering arms cast into the spindle, these new spindles require the use of bolt on steering arms. For steering arms we offer two different styles, an arm that bends upward which are commonly used in 1928-1934 Fords with dropped axles, where the tie rod is above the front radius rod/wishbone. The second style steering arm is the 1935-1948 style, which drops the arm a large amount lower, so the tie rod of the steering can fit below the front radius rod/wishbone.

          Steering arms are sold separately and use part number "B-3134" for the 1928-1934 style or part number "48-3134" for the 1935-1948 style.
